What should I do if the MacBook key does not work?
The owners of the MacBook are often approached to us by the editorial staff, who are faced with the incorrect operation of a separate keyboard key. But often this is not a reason to contact the service center: for such cases, Apple provides a special instruction for cleaning the keyboard MacBook or MacBook Pro.
The first thing you need is a compressed air cylinder and a straw that comes with it. The end of the tube from the keyboard should be separated approximately one and a half centimeters. Also, when spraying it is recommended to keep the canister as flat as possible.
Keep your Mac laptop at an angle of 75 degrees, not strictly vertical. After that, blow out the entire keyboard with compressed air or only problem keys from left to right.
It remains to purge the rest of the keyboard, after which in most cases the problem key will work correctly again. Here such a simple procedure saves time and money. By the way, sometimes this “purge” is useful because with its help you can clean the mechanisms of dust and dirt.
The new MacBook came to users to taste
After Apple introduced the new MacBook Pro with touch panel Touch Bar, many began to choose laptops on macOS instead of those devices on Windows. In the last quarter alone, Apple sold nearly 4 million notebooks, which allowed the company to increase sales by 17%, according to research firm TrendForce.
In the second quarter of 2017, Apple took the fifth place in sales among notebook manufacturers, losing to ASUS, Dell, Lenovo, and HP. At the same time, the winner of the third place was the only one able to bypass Apple in terms of growth: the others are either much lower or absent altogether.
According to TrendForce, the lion’s share of sales of the MacBook were 12-inch models, and only then 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. The last update of the MacBook was on WWDC in June, so it’s unlikely we’ll see another update to Apple’s laptops this year
